My Biggest Fear

I read this article and…it actually took my breathe away!! Impressive.

Learning to breathe

Everybody is afraid of something, or afraid something will happen, or afraid something wont happen. Most of the time, that ‘something’ isn’t even singular. It’s plural. I won’t call it a phobia because the fear has varying degrees in each and everyone of us. It makes a substantial amount of people neurotic and pulls on the seams of sanity for others (which is pretty much the same thing). For a handful, it bothers them once in awhile.
But no one can deny it’s there. Like a fly that won’t go away.

So, my biggest fear is…becoming a hypocrite.

Nah, it’s not that I will get unceremoniously dumped or that I won’t find anymore Fanta in the fridge or that Jon Foreman will die not knowing I exist. No. That’s no it.
That one word, ‘hypocrite’ has the power to cut through my heart and send it to the pits of…

7 Reasons to Shut Up When Talking to a Woman

The temptation to brag about one’s self when in the presence of ladies can sometimes be unimaginable.
There are tonnes of advantages of talking less when you are on a date with a girl

1 – You will appear more mysterious and charming. The more you let her talk, the less she will know about you. This will make her wonder about you when you’re not around therefore increasing interest levels.

2 – The more you say, the more chance you have of saying something stupid.

3 – The less you say, the more valuable everything you DO say will be perceived. (Rarity is perceived as being valuable.)

4 – You will give her the chance to express herself, and talk about her day. Two things women love to do

5 – You won’t appear desperate or insecure. People who brag and talk all the time are constantly trying to get attention and make people approve of them. By talking less, you will appear more cool, confident, and in control!

6 – The less you say, the less you will have to worry about figuring out something to say.

And remember, when you do say something, it should be brief and to the point. Or better still, it could be simple feedback concerning something she has just said to you.

The key is to keep the conversation on her. Only then will you truly know how to deal with her.

It’s Davido….Again!!

Rumour has it that, Davido and lots of other celebs were invited for that recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show by one “Nosa”, a fast rising music producer/manager.
News has be spreading that Davido who was drunk to stupor insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of the one that brought him, and other top artistes and crew from the hotel.
Nosa being his host had to drive closely behind them, the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night.
This is where it gets interesting, sources revealed that the obviously drunk Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting “don’t you know me, what the fcuk is wrong with you guys…” He started shouting about who he is and what not.
This act, angered one of the Mobile police men and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed a thunderous dirty slap and was threatened with a gun to shut up if he does not want to be bathed in his blood.
We were told the musician was immediately rushed back into the car by Nosa and his friend who had at that point got down from the bus and pleaded with the uniformed men that he’s actually a popular musician especially in Lagos and was coming from a show.

Damn Davido, Na u do mscheeew for Mopol???
